...was the name of my grandad's dog when he was a boy.

I read a column somewhere that was bemoaning the lack of interesting names for dogs - saying lots of people now give their dogs 'human' names (and I'm definately guilty of that).

So have any of you given your dog a real doggy name, not something lame like Mickey or Lizzie :wink: ?

    Mate had a dog called Beefer.

    My Mum's neighbour had cats called Tilgrid and Astrophe.
    I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.

    I know of someone who had a cat called Sechwan (sp?) - he was a big fan of Chinese cuisine.
