Ok, my turn this time. I'm looking for a bike for the winter, something with Campag (as I'll probably be wanting to put my Planet X wheels on it at some point).

I will be buying it on our employer's Cycle 2 Work scheme (cyclescheme)

My lbs sells Specialized, Trek and Bianchi. I'm quite smitten with Bianchi, although he won't sell me the 2009 928 Mono Q that has sitting there on the C2W scheme, despite me saying I'll pay the extra on the discounted price to cover his cut to Cyclescheme  :(

So, looking at spending under a grand, not bothered about a Winter Specific bike (ie eyelets). It also doesn't have to be one of the above brands, it can be another brand as long as I can order it from a shop that deals with Cyclescheme (did that with a mountain bike I bought a couple of years back). I am willing to pay more for a great deal, especially if they sell it on the C2W scheme (he says eyeing up the Litespeed in the lbs...........the lbs that doesn't sell sale bikes on the C2W  ).

Only specification, it MUST have campag as I'll have some campag calipers to go on it, some nice Campag wheels to go on it AND, maybe some (scratched) Campag carbon Ergo's to go on it.

Come forth with your thoughts oh wise ones 8)

    Ribble.
They offer 0% finance & cyclescheme & you can opt for Campag on their build site, but look first at the specials page - got my Sportive in May with Centaur for just over £1K once I had added pedals, bottle cages & a new computer.
    My knees hurt !
  • Never thought of Ribble ( ), wasn't aware they used Cyclescheme. Perhaps I'll have a look there today.

    Cheers
