Power Meter Rental

Anyone ever used or rented a Power meter from these guys:

I'm thinking about renting a PowerTap Elite+ for 12 weeks over the winter to see what improvements I can make following a dedicated power training programme on the turbo. I've already got a 705 so it'll be compatible with that. I've also found a seller doing the Pro+ Hub only for about £500 but at about 5x the price of a 12 wek rental, not sure buying one (not to mention the associated wheel build) is worth it for my level of cycling (general fitness, sportives and maybe the Etape next year).
Any thoughts?
