That's right, as from Monday I'll be terrorising the roads arround SE London again :lol::lol:

If you get passed by an old guy on a Fixie with a blue chain and tyres, run and hide because you've been scalped :twisted: :twisted: :twisted: :twisted:

If you happen to pass me :oops: , I'm injured, on a fixie, probably have man flu/swine flu, and a am grandad to boot so deserve your pity, please treat me gently as you take my scalp :wink:

    The new bikes miles off at the moment Jimmy, I'm still waiting for the other guys insurance to ackowledge my claim let alone admit liability, or pay anything :cry: Looks like I'm going to be on the trusty old fixie for the time being. Still it gives me a chance to builf up some base fitness ready to train hard after christmas.

    I think your place in the stats is safe cjcp, I'm not going to be racking up any mega mileage, I'll be taking it easy for the time being..............................what's that, you don't believe me :shock: , oh come now, it's not like I've shot my mouth off before now is it :wink:

    tbh I'm feeling a bit aprehensive about it now. Is my shoulder going to hold up? Am I up to a weeks commuting? How am I going to handle riding in the traffic? Oh well there's only one way to find out

    Glad to see you're on the mend. Just re-read the thread about it....how there can be a problem with liability beggars belief (well, it doesn't, unfortunately). Fingers crossed you get a decent wedge for the Madone's replacement.

    That's it, the first one's out of the way in 1hr 20 mins, about equivalent to my old take it easy time. Wish I could say it was easy this morning :shock: Well it wasn't too painful, and the shoulder held up OK.

    As far as I can see the only thing that has suffered is my top end speed, and a little leg strength :cry: On the other hand it was sooooooo good to be back in the saddle again :lol:
