Retrofit U-turn into 2009 Rockshox Revelation?

This is a question of 2 parts really...
First of all, is it possible to retrofit a u-turn onto a dual air 2009 Revelation Maxle dual air? A friend has a set which he's offering me but they're fixed length and I love the adjustability.
Second question, assuming for a moment that it is, would it have to be the u-turn kit from a 2009 Revelation? I assume yes really, but I already have an 08 spec (100-130mm) Revelation fork with u-turn so if it was possible to mix and match parts that'd be perfect. Though tbh I doubt it is.
Thanks!

You'd have to repalce the whole of the inside of the spring leg - not cheap!0

Ah, well. The actual reason for this is that I want white ones, and white u-turns are hen's teeth on the used market, while black and silver ones aren't. While white fixed-lengths are fairly common. So, if I get his cheap white ones, and a set of used ugly silver ones, and the bits are compatible I can do a switch and have white u-turns and ugly standard ones, and sell the standard ones. Long road for a shortcut but assuming it works, it looks to save about £200! And I'd be servicing the forks anyway so the labour's not a big issue.
The other option's to strip down a black set and get the legs refinished but that's a bit of a minefield sometimes.
(the second part, is that I have 08 revs already and if I could swap those parts that'd be even better- though I'm fairly sure that won't work)Uncompromising extremist0
