Could some kindly souls help out?
I am 6ft and about 13.5 stone and I'd like a full susp bike that will be used on-road 95% of the time and taken off road for leisure cycling. What to people think of these bikes? Muddyfox:

They at least 'appear' to be very good value specs to me. Are you going to tell me I don't need a full susp bike ?
Cheers

dont bother, you will get a much better bike that is more comfortable if you look at a Hardtail for that type of money."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Heavy pogo sticks I am afraid. I'd avoid them all. Will be difficult to ride on the road, and not very good off road.
You are better off with a hardtail at this price unless you can get a Decathlon Rockrider 5.3, and even then a hardtail would be better.0 -
Totally agree with the other posts, avoid a cheap full suss like the plague unless you relish carrying it up every hill you meet!
A hardtail will provide more bang for your bucks, and be alot lighter, don't get hung up on the full suss hype, I use a hard tail for everything including trails and have never felt the need to go full suss, they have their fans but you won't find any fans of that bike.Ridley Orion0 -
Ok thanks. I was half expecting this as the general concensus. Could someone recommend something in the 300-400 price range?0

Nice bike for the money, but buying online can have drawbacks ie can't test it, you will have to set it up etc.0
