As you may or may not be aware Colomba Cycle Company sponsor a local cycling club aimed at encouraging and developing young and new riders. One of our club riders, 19yr old Rob Knibbs, has recently gone into remission from Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and in celebration we have organised a late autumn charity ride around the Yorkshire Dales in aid of Cancer Research.
We would like to invite you and the members of your club to join us for a grand day out. To make a real event of it we will be hitting the town on the evening and you are more than welcome to join us. We are being joined by top British Pros Ben Swift and Geraint Thomas, who have just been revealed as Team Sky members as well as Alex Dowsett and hopefully Ed Clancy and Lizzie Armistead. If you could help spread the word among your cycling club we would be most grateful.
The event will take place on Saturday, 14 November 2009 and will take in 65 miles of fine Yorkshire Dales scenery including a decent of the formidable Park Rash. For more details please see the website at www.colombachemoclassic.org.uk
As an added incentive we are also offering a significant discount on our jerseys for all entrants. If you are not able to make it please pass this on to anyone you think may be interested and help us spread the word to raise funds for a great cause while having a good time to boot. We are aiming at all levels of cyclist, from those wanting to thrash around to those who just want to have a leisurely ride around some fantastic scenery.
It’s not every day you get to ride with the Pros!
