It seems that the Chicken had a spot on a Spanish team for the Vuelta but the UCI made sure he couldn't start.

Any idea's who the team was?

Indeed, there's even one on the Rainow road called Nosh and Breck's

(At the height of Beckam-mania people got it. I don't think they do anymore...)

It does leave you scratching your head, which team manager would even take a phone call from Rasmussen? They'd have to be quite desperate.
