Hi all,
First post on the road section of the forum so be kind!
I've been looking into getting a road bike for a few months, originally thought about getting something fairly cheap (£300ish) but have convinced myself I need something a bit better.
I'm thinking of getting a Planet X SL Team Alu with the Planet X Model B wheelset: http://www.planet-x-warehouse.co.uk/acatalog/SL_Team_Alu.html
What do people think? It would seem that Planet X generally get pretty good reviews.
I live pretty close to their warehouse so will go for a fitting before buying.
Ta for any feedback!

Well that's perfect, it's a great bike, but only if you can get a fitting for it!0

I have one as my training bike. It's great for the money and performs well. I have the XL size, and it has some noticeable flex when going hard, but apart from that it's OK.
Yes, I would definitely go for a fitting. I discovered after delivery of my bike, that the head tube length of the XL frame was 25mm longer than what the website stated - which actually suited me better, anyway.0 -
you can't really buy a decent bike for £300 or less mate i would suggest spending 400+ that extra £100-150 will do so much differenceCoveryourcar.co.uk RT Tester
