Condition of XC routes at Chicksands
Thinking of going to Chicksands Bike park, checked on the website and it says that the XC routes are not in their best condition but rideable, anybody been recently and just how accurate is that ?
The dual slalom routes also look a laugh, how long and technical are they ?

I've not been for a while, IMHO the dual slalom is more fun the the 4X, most technical feature was a 8" drop. Way marking on the XC loop was always the problem. I'd be interested to hear what you think.Northwind wrote: It's like I covered it in superglue and rode it through ebay.0

Dual slalom routes are probably the easiest of the routes there. The XC routes are only about 3 miles each and the sign posting is very poor. Condition is ok - some trails are very narrow where the bushes have got overgrown but generally they are rideable. I can show you what's about if you want - PM me.My Website - Trail Centre info for the UK: MTB Trail Time0
