afan forest camping advise

hi all,

Any advise on the best campsite near Afan Forest trail centre, going there for 4 days 12th Oct ! with my mate who runs & owns Graviti Bike hire & tours in Kaprun Austria, so I hope Afan lives up to expectations !

Thinking we may need to stop in a B&B if the weather turns ??

There's a campsite at the Afan site. But jeez, camping, in Wales, in October! You're braver than me!

Nonsense, October is fine for camping temperature wise.

stunnertier1 - Camping is fine and not expensive at Glyncorrwg.

The campsite there is really good and cafe on site so if weather's bad you can cheat and have breakfast/coffee in there!
We live in the Alps and on our recent tour of welsh trail centres Afan was definitely one of the best!

I've stayed at both campsites at afan. The small one at Afan is on a slope, but nice and quite. The one at Glyncorwg has more facilities, but make sure you stick you bikes in the visitor centre at night as crime and bike theft is pretty bad there.

I'm staying down there in a couple of weeks, but have one of these
