Mudguards for Giant FCR

I have just bought a Giant FCR3 for commuting and winter training but will need to fit mudguards. Does anyone have any experience of fitting them to an FCR, if so what type did you fit and more importantly do they fit well and work. Any pics of FCRs with mudguards fitted would be great.

Giant do their own ones for the FCR. They are the only ones that fit. Those clip on one are worthless as they are too far from the wheel.0

I'm hoping that the Crud Roadracer guards will fit as I want to put them on my FCR - anyone know if they do?

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that the Giant mudguards have gaps in them where they fit around the brakes...
