Can anyone recommend Ribble Cycles to build a bike?

How long do you normally have to wait between the dispatch e-mail and the bike arriving? They sent me the e-mail on Friday.

Also - who is the carrier normally? If it's Royal Mail I could be in for a wait. What happens if you're not in when they try to deliver it? (I'm going away for a week soon)

Just bought a new set of wheels and with there current spend over £50 15% discount got some Scirocco wheels with conti GP4000s et al. For less than the wheelset would be on most online retailers, took 2 working days to arrive.

Perfect. Only downside I had to fit it all

btw carrier for me was parcel force, think they aren't being affected by all this RM stuff. Not too sure though.

My RC Nero has just arrived. Took about 2 months from placing the order which is a few weeks more than I thought but no big deal - I'd rather they got it right first time and it seems they have. They did email about 6 weeks ago to say there would be a short delay because they didn't have any ergo levers left. Then they emailed again a couple of weeks later because something seemed to have gone wrong when I entered my required specs on the website (what they received their end was all the default specs) which fortunately they managed to pick up on and I was able to email back what I wanted

I get the impression they are very busy and will only contact you if necessary otherwise they'd rather be left to get on with it.

Bike was nicely packed - looks like minimal set up required. Overall I'm happy

I got my Dispatch Email on a Friday recieved Bike through Parcel Force the following Thursday

Currently 20% off everything except bikes and groupsets and £1 for courier delivery!

I ordered a winter frame last thursday, free forks and free headset fitting. It said "7 to 10 days" for delivery as it needed workshop time.

Got a despatch notification on Friday and it was here on Monday morning. Very well packaged too. Took me ages to get into it.

Excellent stuff.

I've spent thousands there in the past year. Never had a problem returning stuff or getting through on the phone the couple of times I've tried.
