What colour wood preserver do you use on your garden shed and fences? I use golden chestnut 'cos it's a relatively light shade and looks good when the sun shines on it. Dark colours would make the garden look small I reckon.

Or are you an "old school" type who uses good old creasote and engine oil, still quite like the smell of that in a prvy sort of way. Boy does it kill anything living (flora) that it should fall on.

I use B&Q red stuff, looks nice when first on and smells old school aswell.
My dad bought asbout 10 tubs of the stuff on Coffin-Dodger Wednesday at B&Q a few years ago, so "You don't run out..." :D

I remember at my old house I had a lovely old and nurtured Clematus against my fence, that was untill a new neighboure moved in next door and treated his side of the ajoining fence with creasote and killed ever thing at my side of the fence...after confronting him..and his reaction....I could have willing'ly "Dipped his Bo**ocks" in the stuff
