Epic rear suspension problems

I'm having a nightmare with the rear suspension on my Specialized Epic (2008). It has been replaced 4 times now and at the weekend the latest brain failed again. Has anyone had a similiar experience? My local bike shop does replace the suspension each time, but I really have had enough now. I can't imagine that they'd be keen to give me my money back - maybe I could ask them to replace the 2008 frame and suspension for the 2009 version... I am at a loss and don't know what I should expect from the bike shop or Specialized. ADvice please............

Take your bike along to the bike show at Earls Court, go to the Specialized stand and explain to them how unsatisfied you are with their product. They are extremely efficient when it comes to dealing with complaints that prospective customers could overhear!
