Low rent aluminium frame and horrible, mis-matched fork - clearly made for a low price. Might get you riding a fixed, but expect you'd seen find it's limitations and end up spending a bit on upgrades. At nearly 10kg, that's one hefty track bikeMake mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0

Thanks, nice to read an opinion. That's one way of getting a horizontal dropout bike though.Bikes, saddles and stuff

I just looked up a few weights, this is about the same as the alu. Langster and surprisingly they are only slightly lighter than the steel Plug!Bikes, saddles and stuff

It ain't all that bad - I used to have one before it got stolen.
Note, though, that its pre-drillings for brakes will probably need drilling out in order to actually fit brakes/brake, and some bike shops are very antsy about doing that, and it comes with a slightly bonkers (although fine in London) 95" gear.0 -
Is that the 48x14 that I heard mentioned? And Shimano taper B.B.?
I think it's o.k. but less appealing after realising good steel tubing is lighter than aluminium, or some of it anyway.
