If you could win...

Following on from the recent which big race would you win if you could only win one? thread - if you could only win one race at 1.1 or 2.1 level and one 1.HC or 2.HC (which has never been on the ProTour so forget Paris-Tours), which would you choose?

For the .1 category I'd go for Paris-Camembert because I'd get a nice big cheese for the trouble.

.HC I'll say Giro d'Emilia because it's be nice to win in the autumn sunshine to finish off the year.

    1.HC has got to be Het Volk.

    2.HC, Tour of Qinghai Lake 'cos I'd get to go to China.

    1.1, Eroica. Already a bona fide classic.

    2.1, Settimana Coppi e Bartali. Not the oldest race, but a cool name, some great winners, and a good climby course.

    Definately Eroica for the 1.1.

    Probably Het Volk (sorry, Omloop Het Nieuwsblad)

    For the stage races, I think I'll go for the Tour of California (I think it's a 2.1)

    So for my 2.HC it will have to be Volta a Portugal, 'cos it's almost as tough as a GT, even if you maybe don;t get the credit
