insurance help

i had a big off last night lots of grazes and one very painfull wrist it got me to thinking what would i do if i broke some thing ie arm/leg and was not able to work could i get some sort of insureance that will pay me some thing if i had to be off work and how much i would have to pay for it and which company you lot use or would recomend
