Help me please.
Hi I am reaching out for some help. I am very stuck on choosing a bike and didnt really receive much help on my last post. I am stuck between Gt avalanche 2 and scott aspect 45. Both are 2010 models.
I have a few few questions though which one is better, which one has the better frame so that I can upgrade it later on. On a trail hardtail is it still possible to do quite aggressive jumps on them or would you recommend a jump bike. Im not talkiing about extreme jumps though. Would you recommend an alternative Kona. I have a between £500 - £600 and my local shops sell GT, Kona, Giant and Scott.
Any help would be most appreciated as I am racking my brains out.
Cheers
Steven

Both are similarly specced trail bikes. They will take small jumps, smooth landings but not repeated hard landings or crashes. Frames are much of a muchness.0

I have done some crazy jumps on it.........not intentionally might I add....Point being its survived them and is still working perfectlyA bike is only as good as the rider!0 -
