Trek 1.5 WSD 2009 v 2010

A friend of mine has been offered a good deal on the 2009 version the shop are saying the frame is better on the 2009 but the components are better on the 2010.

I can see the 2010 has more Tiagra incl the brake levers but are they correct about the frame ?

ps I told her I preferred the Tiagra levers to the Sora

    Yes indeed your correct.
    I saw the '09 & the '10 Trek 1.5 side by side in my LBS and this years frame has the hydroformed top tube with smooth welds were as next years you can see the welds on the equally drawn ally.
    Plus the wheels have been downgraded to Bontrager 'approved'.
    Next years spec is more Tiagra so it's swings & rounabouts!
    I preferred this years model plus the price was very favourable!
