Try a good Health food shop as most of the ones you will get in places like s Tesco's will not be very strong ( Wife was in the trade for about 12 years ).0

I noticed this especially with things like Glucosamine and chondroitin etc.
The Tesco ones are cheap and have a good spread of stuff specially formulated for men but as you say, probably no where near as strong as specialist stuff.0 -
the tesco ones are very well priced though!
they also do a budget range which is much lower dosage than the others - but they are so well priced you could take double the tablets to make up the dose (do your sums correctly!) and still be in pocket - they were doing a chewable Vit C and Zinc tablet for 29p for 60 tablets - they were only 500Mg VitC each - but at that price!0 -
5 veg a day - make the effort if possible0

Your absolutely right of course - you can't beat natural sources - but I do (personally) think a multi-vit is important - especially in winter.
I am sure I catch less colds when I religiously take my vitC and zinc supplement.0 -
I'm still getting through the ones I had free with the Zipvit packs I sent off for. Almost out though so need to order some soon.Carlsberg don't make cycle clothing, but if they did it would probably still not be as good as Assos0

Try healthspan, they're on the www, I get my glucosamine/saw palmetto/echinacea/ginseng from them - all guaranteed and very well priced, free postage...0

The internet is waaaay cheaper than Holland and Barrett, Tesco etc etc. Often supermarket supplements look cheaper, but when you look at the label the concentrations of vits and minerals is much lower.
Try Healthy Direct or Just Vitamins but there are loads of others like Biovea etcDo not write below this line. Office use only.0
