i follow pro cycling to a sad extent, but im only 15 and dont know much about tyres or the like.
sorry i havent met your expectations....0 -
lol, only being a twat mate, sorry. Unless anythings changed(i usually skip the tyre threads) then Kryllion carbons for toughness and Continental gp4000s(or pro race 3's but i had a bad experience with these) for quality, i stand to be corrected though........................................winter beast: http://i497.photobucket.com/albums/rr34 ... uff016.jpg

Pro3s are great tyres but they cut too easily - more of a race tyre. For winter riding when the roads gather grit, I would stick to GP4000S (chilli compund)0

ok ok cheers mate, ill start the the religeous look around for the cheapest prices 8)
others agree with these?0 -
Cut easily and, in my experience, go completely to the cloth(?) if you have to brake hard and lose the back end.winter beast: http://i497.photobucket.com/albums/rr34 ... uff016.jpg

sound a bit pathetic even for a race tyre? :roll:0

Well they're not designed to be skidded but still had only covered about 400-500 miles prior to that and it wasnt a huge skid so i was put off. I use conti gp4000 on my other bike and they feel just as quick(if not quicker) but maybe a tad less forgiving but i haven't tried the 'S' version yet, will definately be my next set of tyres though.winter beast: http://i497.photobucket.com/albums/rr34 ... uff016.jpg

On what basis? (Just curious) You seem to be having a lot of single phrase answers recently :?winter beast: http://i497.photobucket.com/albums/rr34 ... uff016.jpg
