Ok, a few good folks have pointed out that its been a bit tetchy on here of late, its now to tip the balance the other way, so...
What really makes you smile ?
Mine,
My kids sleeping as I tuck them in.
Nice fry up/ mixed grill.
Good bike ride.

When the world aligns and all is going well for the briefest of moments, in whatever walk of life.
My kids can make me smile in such a genuine way, you know the smiles that are completely deep and non contrived in any way.
Whisky also makes me smile, but not a pretty smile..... :shock:
Met a guy when I was out cycling today in Jakarta, he was English and we had a good chat for 20+ miles, that also made me smile, but the grimace of trying to keep up probably made it difficult to see....nice fella.0 -

From my own experience of cats, I suspect it's not so much 'waking you up' as 'demanding breakfast'. Mum & Dad's cat never did this, but instead opted for loud, incessant meowing first thing in the morning, presumably adopting the model used by Bagpuss; i.e., when he woke up, all his friends (I say friends, 'servants' is nearer the mark) woke up.

At the minute, it's watching my 3 yr old son operating the computer. His little hand toggling the mouse wheel and him clicking and scrolling just brings the biggest smile.
