Assos Knickers sizing

OK I'm going to take the plunge and go for a pair of Assos 3/4s. Can I ask for some sizing advice? It's about 30 quid cheaper online as opposed to local and I don't want to take the p in the shop. My measurements are:

height: 6'1"
weight: 175 lbs
waist: 35"
chest: 36"

I take XXL in Giordana and XL in Castelli if that's any help!

    Assos is very critical on sizing. If you are 35 in a waist I reckon a Large, although could be XL. most other clothing brands ordering online is usually fine but with Assos, trying on is best.

    I'm 6'1" and ordered a pair of F1 Mille shorts in XL. They arrived today and fit like a glove.
    From what I've read, it's best to match the garment to your height first, and waist second.

    Match to your height (that's how they do sizing in Assos...)

    Thanks all. Maybe I'll just take the hit at the local just to be sure on sizing.
