How are you getting on with the Shimano R086's? I've recently gone over to clipless pedals (entry level Shimano SPD-SL's) and a pair of these - and aside from the fun of trying to clip in when you're in traffic and trying to get peddling (yes, I have pedalled along with one foot whilst shouting at my bike that I can't get the other foot clipped in!!) I'm really enjoying them so far. They seem really comfortable - not getting ant rubbing, sore spots or anything - in fact I don't even notice them at all.

Went for a 7 mile ride today with them and really enjoyed them, will be a few weeks before I really get used to them every day but early indications are very very good

I'm getting more and more used to them. Did 50 miles this weekend over 3 different rides, and then did my commuting ride in this morning. Seem to be getting slightly quicker at clipping in each time and when I come to a stop I've tried to ensure that the only thought in my mind is 'UNCLIP, UNCLIP'. Only had one slight panic when a car started to move and then stopped again - I started putting the power on, looked down to clip in and then looked up to see the car not moving - and had to hastily jam on the brakes and wrench my foot out of the pedals!

Today was much better but still struggling with my LEFT foot, really enjoyed the commute with them today.I know Jobysp had issues today clipping in but I think in time we will both be flying.
