what winter bike

what sort of bike do you use? old road bike , cheap hybrid.
i 've got a raleigh hybrid; shove it in the garage after ride/commute and clean up only when i think it's getting really bad. must admit though as i ride throught he winter i wouldn't mind something a bit more lively. i was about to buy a sirrus 09 for £300 but when i had oppurtunity to get back it had gone and only '10 models were available at £400: too much to abuse
