HOMBRES (based around Wolverhampton).
I have a small select band of unfit men, who enjoy the sport of mountain cycling very much. We have a group on the facebook, called HOMBRES (Hungover mountain bikers recreational entertainment society) to organise rides and social gatherings. We are all based around Wolverhampton in he West Midlands currently, but would like to extend an invitation for anyone to join us.
We try and arrange a days riding about once a month, but do fit in other mini rides insually
We start the day with a lovely breakfast, usually far to close to the start of riding)
We are all of mixed ability (mostly mixed bad) but that doesn't matter, we do it for the crack
We try and get a couple of weekend camps a year in (well thats the aim)
So yeah feel free to join, or to add me on facebook too, I'm the only Gaz Derry in the world as far as I can tell. I can't promise anything professional, but we have a laugh

Hey, I like the soud of this MTB for the unfit what a great idea I would like to be counted in. I know quite few routes on the Long Mynd in Shropshire and most of the classic routes in the Peak District.
I am keen to ride Cut Gate again but don't want to do it with XC whippets0 -
add me on facebook then and Ill send you the link to the group, i am Gaz derry, i believe the only one in the world. Like I say we certainly aint XC whippets, were just unfit hackers who like the day out and doing as best as we can at the speed we can muster, but anyone with experience of routes is especially welcome, as so far we have managed to get lost at trail centres0

I've joined the group Daz, as you can imagine i won't be on many of your groups rides due to it being a bit of trek, but i'll hook with you all when i am back in Wolves. We could possibly have pre/post ride rendezvous' in the Pendulum seeing as most of the group are from that neck of the woods (Apparently the currys in there are pretty good).0

Sounds like a good plan to me, and The pendy currys are supposedly very good, haven't been in in ages mind.0
