Some say cyclists 2 year bans for doping are too short and that they should be longer. I agree with this that there's not enough intensive.

Manchester City's Emmanuel Adebayor has been suspended for only three matches for violent conduct against Arsenal's Robin van Persie. An attack on another player is unacceptable and should be punished appropriately.

If this had been off the field then the police would be called in and proper charges an option.

    that is a joke
  • Lucky he didn't have his eye out.
  • Yeah but it's a red card offence so surely he deserves the appropriate punishment.

Similarly, I don't think the authorities would be too happy for you if you found someone to give you a blood tranfusion on the quiet.
  • Well if the ref seen it then he would have given him a red card which would result in a three match ban.

As for the stamp, the police can still charge him, but the other player would have to report him to the police first.
  • A few years ago Duncan Ferguson got a CUSTODIAL SENTENCE for putting his head against another player's. He served his time in Glasgow's Barlinnie Jail.

Adebayor gets a 3 game ban for raking a players face with his studs.

An absolute travesty and confirmation of why football really is one load of tosh.

The Ferguson incident has been washed under the carpet, a massive miscarriage of justice.
  • I forgot about Ferguson. What really get me about Adesmumsawhore is "I am sorry Robin got hurt, but I can't regret something I did not mean to do," Adebayor told The Sun.

"Anybody who knows me knows I would not set out to hurt anybody and I would especially not mean to hurt an old team-mate.

"I really am glad Robin was OK because I know my stud was close to his eye, but there was really nothing I could have done - there was no way I could have got out of the way in time."
