Might be better asking at retro forums but does anyone know -
The different versions of atx 990 ?
I had the yellow with blue triangle version some years ago but have seen a version with the shock facing down rather than the shock running under the top tube.
Was one designed for more down hill than the other ?
Any other info on front forks travel recommended at the time would be great.

Hi still got my 1996 blue yellow atx 990
came with rock shox judy xc forks 80mm
noleen rear shock 80mm
1997 model red and yellow
not sure they made the 990 after that
shock was on top tube for both models0
