I couldn't possibly advise on lights but I will say this:
* if possible, don't ride close to the side of the trail. A weird woodland furball - the kind of thing you only see on nature documentaries recorded in infra-red - is guaranteed to saunter out in front of you looking for its supper and there's nothing like a furball in the spokes for launching you over the bars.
* do not descend at speed with your mouth open - a moth will fly straight in.

these for the bars
and
this for the helmet
you'll want some 18650 rechargables and a charger for the torch from the same website. Although you'll struggle for this weekend...
You could just pop into your local bike shop and ask them to order you a fenix, not as bright but you should be able to get it from moore and large before the weekend just.0 -
The trouble with having an open mind, of course, is that people will insist on coming along and trying to put things in it.
