went out for my first nite ride at Llandegla, just the blue, to get used to the lites and see how it felt

first lap was fine, second, half way round, 8 min from the first berm, going down a a slope at some speed ( 20-ish)

the mech hanger broke, at the time i had no idea what was happening! just a lot of noise and the bike felt weird!!

slow down, as fast as could, safely, to find this list of bent and broken hardwear

valve snapped off the innertube

few slightly bent spokes, one much looser then the others


slight buckle to the wheel


the wheel is a DT swiss 4.2D, has about 2 to 3 mm buckle, should be ok to get fixed? nipple not been pulled thru, just loose on one spoke, the others have very slight kinks in them


not too bothered about the mech and chain, but my lovely merlin built wheels! have emailed them to see the cost of a service on them ( dont have the tools to do it)
