Intermediate routes around the North West?
Got a couple of weeks off work and am toying with the idea of a few days away here and there throwing the bike in the car and exploring.
What intermediate routes are there around the North West, if theres gooduns further afield then I can live with a B+B for a night or 2.
Cheers

Where abouts? NW covers a large area! All the way up to and including the Lakes...
But from say Mancs, 1hr 30 (ish) to Marin and Penmachno, if you want trail centres in the Lakes, there are two, Whinlatter- see the million pages in its own topic and the NFT at Grizedale,
Far more than that available, but not trail centres... LOTS of places in the Peak district and the Lakes and N. Wales....0 -

If you want to explore how about do the Mary Townley Loop, doable in a day (47miles) or there are a number of bike (& horse) friendly B & B's on the loop allowing you to do it over 2 days. Or maybe do some of the Pennine bridleway proper. Loads of natural riding around Rossendale / Calderdale with Lee Quarry and Gisburn Forest local too. It's easier to ask for forgiveness than for permission.
I've bought a new bike....ouch - result
Can I buy a new bike?...No - no result0
