Heres an interesting game... The Climate Change thread got me thinking, theres some great brains on here and a decent, civil level of debate about politics. This site tries to gague your views on both a left/right axis but also an authoritarian/libertarian axis.

I came out smack in the middle of rightwing libertarian, which was exactly where I'd put myself. Have fun folks! [/url]

I'm Ghandi on an libertarian day, apparently. Some awful (practically unanswerable), and awfully leading, questions though.

I'm libertarian left down near Ghandi and Mandela. Accurate, although I wish there were a few more questions on what you would like as an alternative, rather than just your opinions on the current system.

Not really learnt much new though

Taken that test before, it's awful. I'm an uber lefty libertarian, though my libertarianism allows state control of things like the NHS (which I believe to be the best system for the good of the entire populace).

Well I supported taxing the rich - which somehow makes me an extreme anarchist. :?

    Go figure.

I thought this was a thread about the political pressure group Compass.

    Alas.
Note: the above post is an opinion and not fact. It might be a lie.

Apparently Ghandi gave exactly the same answers as me; which is nice.

Except isn't he dead, so how could he have filled in his own on line survey.

Well, I had a look at the first page: these kind of questions are known as "...or are you a bastard?" questions, e.g. "Do you believe in love, freedom and peace on earth, or are you a slimy, hate-filled bastard?"
Not only highly unlikely to get a clear picture of people's real views, but very easy to decide how you want to come out & manipulate the answers accordingly.
  • Another Gandhi here.

I'm just lefter than Gandhi and considerably more libertarian, a sort of extreme left-libertarian cross of Nelson Mandela and the Dalai Lama. :?

I have the same dilemma as whyamihere. I used to like the idea of a benevolent dictatorship ... with a libertarian in charge.
