Having just bought a new FSA Carbon square taper crankset from CRC i want to now upgrade to a better quality BB. i currently have a Campag Veloce 111mm and English thread. I want to replace it with a BB with Ceramic bearings and if possible in the colours of red or black. Can anyone suggest a good BB which fit the above criteria? Also i want to upgrade the brake calipers and was thinking of these bcteulbk0995261.th.jpg
or does anyone have any better suggestions around the same price. Thanks to all.

Don't know of a ceramic one off the top of my head but Royce and Phil Wood are generally recognised as some of the best.

I recently fitted a Royce ti BB to my wife's bike and it was simply a gorgeous, beautiful piece of kit. Very impressed.

FSA will be a JIS taper so you should go with that, rather than the Campag/ISO taper.

FSA do a ti ultimax BB too, which can be picked up cheaper than the other two.

  • +1 the brakes are excellent for the money especially the weight saving.
