Missing eyelet on CXP33 rim

I have just taken receipt of a set a rims/hubs and spokes from Parker International.
I noticed that one of the plastic eyelets that are seated in the rim holes is missing.
The spoke nipple is definetley less well seated in a bare rim hole and I would suspect under tension the spoke may pull nipple through the rim hole.
Mavic are very hard to contact. They do have a technical manual online which says do not use the rim if there are missing eyelets. I guess it's a case of following that advice and returning the rim to the supplier.
Anyone else has missing eyelet problems on new rims? Is it safe to lace up, or should I request an exchange?
Cheers
