Spongy Brakes

I've recently had my front pads out (tektro Auriga) and given the inside of the calliper a blow out, moving the pistons manually to check free movement. With it all back together and the wheel back on the lever feels far less effective and has greater movement than before nearly coming all the way back to the grip. Do I nee to re-bleed the system?

i have the same brakes , don't suppose you had the bike upside down while you were maintaining did you ? , did the same on mine until i really took some time to bleed them properly ,
by the sound of it , you definately need to bleed them , pump the lever a few times , does it go better ? , if so they need bleeding.0 -
Yep funny you should say that. The bike was upside down. Any tips for bleeding? these aren't the comp version just tektro auriga.0

sounds like you just need to reset the pads/pistons as you have moved them from their normal position.
going and using them tends to get them to work properly."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."
