  • I have the same shoes to commute on and they've proved to be good. Recessed soles makes walking easy from bike shed to office. I use m520's which are double sided and they're good too - cycle press have reviewed them positively - picked up a new pair on ebay for £18.

One tip for the shoes is not to do the laces too tight - feet can go numb.

  • I tried them but found the Sonoma shoes more comfortable with the benefit of no laces to get tangled.

I've also got these & use with Shimano M520's as well - they make a good combination.

I'm now on my 3rd pair of M520's

If you're worried about the laces, you can tie them first & secure them with the velcro strap

If they're anything like the Sonomas then they are probably one of the heaviest shoes around....
