Evening All,
about 4 weeks ago my bike was nicked from a petrol station. I reported to the police, the people were in a white van (one of the guys was male , 5ft8 dark short hair and aged early 20's. It was all caught on CTV. I've been keeping an eye out on ebay and it just so happens that the same bike model is being sold in gloucester. I've contacted the seller and asked a few details my first question . Do you have a manual for the bike, reply back was no manual. Which I find a bit strange. So my next question was - can you tell me the frame number and do you have a receipt. Strange enough no reply received! Should I contact the police again? eg I dont want to waste their time but at the same time, if it is the bike then chances are they've nicked other stuff. PC frank, should i contact the police agian, can a store (halfords ) trace the fram back tothe store it was purchased - the store was 35 miles away? thanks. http://offer.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dl ... 0478855223

When you reported it to the police, just go back to the reporting officer and inform him about the ebay listing! Or ask to see/view the bike, go round and if you see a white van your half way there!0

We should seriously get a group of us together for stuff like this. A paramilitary group of angry bikers turning up to reclaim stolen goods would make them think twice about pinching somethign next time.
We could even chip in for an A Team style van. Ok too far. This is a block of text that can be added to posts you make. There is a 255 character limit0 -
Looks very fishy, esp. now the ad has been cancelled. Can't u contact ebay? Click on Pc Frank's profile and PM him. Feel for you, mate.

Just checked and the bike changes colour but he says in the current listing that he relisted due to time waster but the bike is different, different colour :shock:winter beast: http://i497.photobucket.com/albums/rr34 ... uff016.jpg
