I have nothing in the list...

The Jackets, Shirts, gloves and pants could be handy now the weather is turning.

  • That suit could be a godsend or a nightmare if it doesent breathe properly could overheat!

yes most definitely mac-man. maybe even the waterproof jacket, depending on how hot you generally get, cos it might be a 'boil-in-the-bag' job
  • don't think it's an all in 1 thermal suit - description gives the impression its seperate top & bottom.

Get the gloves, best gloves I've had, used all last winter - lost one last year was gutted

The tights work well too, never been that impressed with the jackets, think you need to stick to gortex / event if you want a breathable waterproof jacket.

I have their short gloves, very happy, also the daughter really auised a pair when she was on crtcthes for 8 weeks and they are still in GWO so the long fingered gloves are on my list, just bought some Spesh Tahoe's though so give the shoes a miss!

Well.... just popped into my local store.

Bought the jacket and winter pants - ideal for chilly weather. Jacket is surprisingly good for the price. Quality seems fine, fit is ok for me. I'm 5'10" and the large fitted me well.

The waterproof jacket is in fluorescent yellow.... and not at all breathable. Deffo 'boil in the bag'.

The shirts looked a little thin for a winter shirt.... you'd need something else on underneath TBH.

The 'galoshes and hat' . No thanks. LOL

EDIT... and they seemed to be running out of sizes quick. So better be sharpish. I wanted red but they only had blue in my size :-(

i managed to get waterproof trousers and some bib shorts but no sign of the SPD shoes, the underwear stuff looked a bit weird to me but still a great price, there only seems to be few of each size so be quick.

  • I was told the shoes had all been recalled due to a fault with them.. they said they'd be in later..

I was there at opening and there wasn't much stock... very stange...
  • I went there this morning and got the following.

2x Pairs of socks (tried them today and very comfortable and warm)
Winter trousers (these are actually bib tights and I have a pair from last year- very good)
Winter jersey (it is a bit thin, tried it today and was very impressed, kept me toasty)
Gloves (nice fit and are supposed to be waterproof and breathable)
Underwear top (It fits me fine and I'll use it as a base layer, I would avoid this if you are a bit porky, the fit around the belly is very tight)

All that for £40 and a few pence. bargain! :)
  • bought the waterproof trousers (breathable ones) + the thermal top - seem spot on for the money

Is it a one day only thing or will they have the stuff tomorrow?
  • It'll be there until it's all sold. Picked up the waterproof over trousers and bib thingies today myself - for £22 you can't go wrong!
