Best value bike at the moment

Firstly hello everyone, I hope to learn a lot from this helpful forum.

Im looking to get into biking bigtime, need to get fit again.

So Im looking for the best all-rounder bike. I know each will have their own opinion, Im fortunate enough not to have a fixed budget, but I a great beleive in value. So if you where going to buy your dream bike over the next few days, which would it be and wheres the best deal?

However IMO you are on a hiding to nothing,if you focus solely on a "deal".I
f the bike doesn`t do what you need it to,and /or doesn`t fit its a bad buy and any savings made turn into a loss when you come to resell it.Bikes bought this way tend to end up on ebay after a month or so`s riding.

So I`d strongly reccomend that you go to a local well stocked bike shop and trying as many bikes as you can,and narrwoing down what suits first.If that bike happens to be available on a good deal,all well and good,but the wrong bike is always poor value for money.
