dakine hydration pack

Has anyone been using the dakine session pack for a while and is it any good.Had a look today at one and it seems an ideal size and a good price.The other pack i looked at was the camelbak mule but it seems a bit bigger than i need and is more expensive.Are there any others worth looking at .

I have a Karrimor Zodiak 25L pack and a Lezyne bladder. The pack is fine for carrying spares, food and waterproofs etc. Its pretty light and you can get different sizes. They are sold in outdoor shops like Blacks and also eBay.

I've got a Dakine Nomad, I love it.. it's got loads of space, 3ltr bladder, and is super-comfy

I know its not the one you asked about, but my mate has the Session, and his only complaint is that it's a bit small, space-wise (we go out on all day rides, so he feels he needs a bit more space.. depends on how long you ride tho!)

I've had a session since about jan/feb and i cant complain at all. Not as much room as some bags but its only a small bag. Holds plenty of stuff, 2l bladder, pump (although i attach mine to my frame now) food, tools, spare tube etc.. and i still have room to stuff in lights, wallet, glasses, gloves or a pack away jacket. The straps are good to for securing larger thing to it, like helmet, pads (if you use them), big coat for when it gets hot etc... Also it kept all my things totally dry when out in the rain for a good 5 hours a few weeks back.

Dakine make good stuff... I guess the nearest camelbak equivalent is the Chaos, though it has a little more storage. It's also a very nice bit of kit, very unintrusive when riding (though it can bulge out a wee bit when the reservoir's full, if there's anything much in the storage).
