Rockshox Revelation - Air Loss?

I recently had a new set of RS Revelation Dual Air (140mm) fitted to my Giant Reign and have only used them a handful of times so far.
Each time I go to ride, I check the air pressure in them and they may have dropped by anything from 10 - 40 psi.
Is this normal? Also, how often would you say you should check your fork pressure - before every ride maybe?

Thanks for that, but it doesn't really explain how often people, in general, check or need to top air up in their forks.
Also, I appreciate that, in my case, my shock pump will take 10 psi when connected, which is the air that goes in the chamber. Doesn't really explain where the additional 10 - 30 psi has gone though.
Can this amount of air be lost during a ride, for example?Winter: Moda Nocturne

Check your sag before you go, not the air pressure.0

Sorry if I'm sounding a bit dim here, but if I know what my sag is, and that my sag = x psi, surely that's what I should be checking every time I ride?Winter: Moda Nocturne

If the sag hasn't changed, then your air pressure will not have. Then you can rule out any interference from the pump when attatching, as it will always be less than that last time you measured.0
