Cycling Holiday

Hey
im off to Morroco in March for a cycling holiday, we will be covering 40km / day over an 8day period. I play hockey so im relatively fit but need to be alot fitter. So im looking for what sort of training and diet i should be having to get myself up to peak fitness ready for this biking holiday in March.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

    40km is approx 25 miles so easily doable for somebody with some form of sports fitness in their bones.
    I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.
