Take a look on the regular ride in Essex thread. Thorndon and Laindon fairly local.0

is that an off road area?0

Yes. I ve never ridden at Laindon but do at Thordon regular. Good XC routes mainly but there downhill sections and jump areas in and around Warley Gap.0

If you can get to Tesco in Langdon Hills, there is a fantastic nature reserve out the back of it, takes a little finding to find the good bits, but there is a map of the place which is quite helpful. It's mainly XC but if you look hard enough there is a small Downhill track.
Also, the Harvester resturaunt up on One Tree Hill has a great selection of routes round there in the forest behind it.
Sorry I don't know much about Billericay but maybe there are some places in Mill Meadows that are rideable but its mainly split into fields with lots and lots of gates and stiles so possibly not much down there.
Hope this helps.0 -
I ride Thorndon several times per week, there's plenty of riding there and variation.
There's close to about 30 miles of trails, so enough to keep you busy for a bit.Now where's that "Get Out of Crash Free Card"0
