Been over to swinley this afty, had a blinding time weather was mint
Was mental busy, the gully looked like picaddily circus, but the only downer which really got our freaking goats was ,when we rode down deerstalker, walked back up babymaker for another run down, when half way up near the biggest tabletop, the amount of crap an shyte lying about, like monster cans, bottles ,crisp packets, pastie wrappers etc,we must have spent nearly ten minutes picking alls this crap up
TAKE IT HOME!
Plain fookin lazy!
If you are going to spend the day,in a specific part of the forest, please take your crap home, cos one day the forestry comission will no doubt come along and bury all your little jumps an ban bikes because of it!
Rant over

least you picked it up no one else would bother I would0

Can't remember the last time I went for a ride and didn't bring home someone else's litter. It's heavier when it's empty obviously :roll:Uncompromising extremist0

You can't educate these lazy shoits. I think some of the most common trailside rubbish are energy gel packets and plastic lucozade sport bottles.
You just fight a loosing battle with these mindless people.Niner Air 9 Rigid

Inner tubes, hate seeing them chucked to the side of the trail- no need either, cheap to fix with a puncture kit, and you just carted one all the way there, why not just out it back in your backpack and carry on- you would have without the puncture.0

+1 for gel packets, you can always tell when there's been racing over here, cos of the empty gel packs, put em in your pockets lazy t@ts!Told ya itll hurt!0

I always take a little plastic bag with me now so I can stick all my rubbish in my pack.
You're right gel packs are definantly the most common.0 -
I was in Swinley yesterday morning and lost my collection of empty bottles and crisp packets I normally carry in my pack - did anyone find them?
Seriously though - it was busy there and there is always rubbish dumped at the top of any of the runs people session - very irritating as I have to stop my ride to pick it up!Closet jockey wheel pimp whore.0 -
Well where I ride there seems to be a lot of fly tipping going on. Was out just last weekend and along one of the most popular cycle routes some pikey had left a load of debris what looked like the contents of someone's loft . No need for this whatsoever and a lot of these builders etc charge their customers for rubbish disposal and the do this. STOP IT !!!! :twisted:0

Is very annoying but what with councils only collecting rubbish every 2 weeks and carry ons like that, I think the problem will only get worse, though i agree there is no excuse for it.
Even worse when you see litter you know is bike specific, well out of order.0 -
I see the odd bit of rubish out on the trails, but I have only ever seen obscene amounts of rubish out on the bike whenever I have stumbled accros a DJ section...

Very true ...
It's people that don't appreciate the natural scenery of the area instead they are more happier to turn it into dump a home from home

And for some reason some muppet had left a folding maxxis advantage with the last tube I found.Visit Clacton during the School holidays - it's like a never ending freak show.
