Saw a guy on a full susser this week with clip on aero bars i thought wtf ?
Now i must admit i am getting up to around 21-22 mph on the flat on my hybrid and was wondering is it worth sticking one on?

I can sort of see the point if you're trying to get used to that position for a tri or duathlon. But I can't the see the point on the commute unless you've got a good stretch of road. I'd be no quicker using tri ars over my 14 mile commute and 3.5 miles of that is in a Park with a great road for it. You also have less control over the bike, which isn't good in traffic.FCN 2-4.

There is a brilliant chap I keep seeing on Coronation Road in Bristol who's bodged up an aero mtb - Not proper Aero mind - Just really highset bars with bar ends; he stretches out on the bar ends and tucks himself down behind the bar stem (head down) and peddels like billieo..
For some reason it always reminds me of a kid trying to go really fast on a trike...FCN: 50
