Looking for ride buddies,Surbiton,Kingston,SW London
Hi everyone,I'm John mid 30s mountain bike rider.I've ridden numerious routes along the Thames,Wye Navigation and Bassingstoke cannal, and am starting to explore the Dorking area.
I'm hoping to find some ride buddies.I fairly easy going, and not a bike snob(mine are a 99 Specialised Hardrock and a 83 Raliegh Bomber).I'm happy at most speeds.
I'm as interested in what I see as how fast I go.In skill terms I cut my teeth in South Africa(I'm Irish before you ask)and have yet to find a trail here that I havnt been able to ride.
Hope to hear from you all soon

Nirvana Cycles in Westcott do a variety of weekly rides - takes in the best locations in the area. Take a look at their website2015 Cervelo S3
2016 Santa Cruz 5010
2016 Genesis Croix de Fer0 -
Hey John, how are you going? I'm looking for riding buddies around the London area also - I'm currently based in Shepherds Bush. Anyway just thought I would touch base and try to consolidate any London based riders into the one thread, so we can try and organise rides together. Check the "London Calling" thread as I'll post details of / suggestions for rides there, as will a couple of others I think. I'm keen to get out every weekend, if possible, to try and build up my fitness in the hope of getting back into bit of social racing....0

Hi John
I live in SW London not Surbiton or Kingston but Sutton and also looking for some riding buddies. Determined to go to mountain biking more often this year, normally ride at either Bedgebury or Swinley but interested in discovering the Surrey Hills.
Where have you been riding in Dorking?

Guys I also live in SW London (raynes park) I was looking for some guys to ride with late last year, after a bit of googling I found these guys, I have been out a few times with them, very welcoming and not too fast

Thumbs up to Rosierosie for trying to direct all Londoners to one thread** ... providing that whole group work out transport, we could hit the best trails around in large group! What could have been (Video)
I'll choose not put too much stake into someone's opinion who is admittingly terrible though0 -

cheers popstar, it's mainly selfish of me as I need people to show me the good trails as well as arrange transport! Would be cool to get some group rides going from here. Happy to meet on a train and head out as well, if it's easy enough to access riding that way.

Kirk/John - I'm slightly further out in Walton but still fairly local. I'm usually riding SOMEWHERE most weekends so drop me a line if you want to come along a bit0
