I fancy trying some Nobbies on some new rims They will be run tubeless but do I have to use the UST tyres with the thin sidewalls or can I run the snakeskin tyres tubeless (on crank bros xc rims) ?

God damn it's hard to find some 2.25s! Ordered from CRC who showed them as in stock, however I ordered them and they now are out of stock and not due for a fortnight. So cancelled order and went to UKBike Store who, now I've ordered, are out of stock too Merlin are now showing in stock, however last night they were out of stock too!!
Is there much real-world difference between the 2.1 and the 2.25? Everyone seems to have the 2.1 in stock :evil:Adam.

I had to get my LBS to order in special my 2.25 snakeskin nics. They ended up having to go direct to the importer. Took just over a week to get them. Worth the wait though. Swapped the rear nic for a ralf and its made a world of difference in speed pic up with very little noticable loss in traction.0

Try Ribble Cycles, last time I checked they had the 2.25" in and they were pretty cheap (£25 each I think)Orange Crush 2010

The trouble with having an open mind, of course, is that people will insist on coming along and trying to put things in it.
