Just seen this web site. On their web page is a shop and they're selling cycling jerseys in aid of the charity. £40 quid for the ss jersey, a worthy cause I think you'll agree and a small price to pay in order to help our boys when they get hurt or injured whilst seving Queen and country. www.helpforheroes.org.uk/ - I'll be ordering mine asap.

Got mine earlier on this year when I did the big bike ride (Cherbourg to Paris). A nice piece of kit and as already stated - a worthy cause :D

I think they come up a little loose - try it and if it's no good they are pretty good with returns.

Shouldn't the govt that sent them into war be helping the forces ratyher than relying on charities such as this?

Too friggin' right they should :!:

Problem is, the govt. know people will put their hands in their pocket to help rathern than them (the govt.) having to spend a little more - it could impact on their expenses claims, consultation fees etc.
  • i thought the RBL did all this- when did HFH spring up?

Help for Heroes was founded by Bryn and Emma Parry in October 2007 out of a desire to help the wounded Servicemen and women returning from Afghanistan and Iraq.

The message of the charity is simple: We are strictly non political and non critical; we simply want to help. We believe that anyone who volunteers to serve in time of war, knowing that they may risk all, is a hero. These are ordinary people doing extraordinary things and some of them are living with the consequences of their service for life. We may not be able to prevent our soldiers from being wounded, but together we can help them get better.

    - direct from their website :D
