Squeaky Jockey Wheels
Help! This is driving me nuts!
I have a squeak comimg from my jockey wheels. It starts after half an hour of riding and gets steadily louder.
I've replaced them (Campagnolo 10s) at a cost of £17 but the squeak is still there.
I'll give them a really good clean and grease and they are fine for two weeks but the squeak just comes back.
Someone has suggested bearing jockey wheels. Would this help? Ideas?

Put a drop or two of oil on them whenever you lube your chain.0 -
Did you check when replacing the j/wheels that they ran freely..you my have over tightend the axle bolt ...just give it 1/4 turn back and make sure that they run freely0

After checking the jockey wheels, axle bolts and drowning the whole thing in oil I still had a squeak.
A colleague at work suggested it could be a tight link in the chain so I put my spare one on and the squeak was gone! I've done a couple of hundred miles now and its as quiet as a mouse.
A mouse that doesn't squeak, obviously.
